Brit Butt Light
I also act as rallymaster for IBA UK's annual Brit Butt Light Rally. A 12 hour scatter rally and light for two reasons - one because it only takes place in daylight, and two, because it is intended to be a shorter, easier version of the full Brit Butt Rally which takes place in May each year. It is therefore an ideal introduction or preparation if you are thinking of taking part in longer IBA rallies. Each year there is a theme to the rally - in 2009 it was a Unique Pub Crawl, with riders invited to visit a selection from forty pubs across England and Wales with unique names. This formed the basis for the Grim Riders MCC Pub Crawl Ride. In 2010 riders had to select a route which took in a number of the 48 Millennium landmarks across England and Wales - some of these can still be visited on the Millennium Ride. For 2011 there will be a different challenge.....
The third Brit Butt Light will take place on Saturday 25th June 2011, with entries open from 1st March 2011.
