Circuits Ride

Background

I have had this ride put together for a while and decided to list t before the Treasure Hunt in April. Circuits may be visited while passing or while attending a motorcycle race being held there - in such cases a dated ticket is sufficient evidence as it may be difficult to take appropriate photographs at such times.

Completing the Ride
Riders must visit a number of motor racing circuits across Britain listed below. There are seventeen circuits in total for this ride - fifteen on mainland Britain (twelve in England, one in Scotland, and two in Wales); plus one in Northern Ireland, and the TT circuit on the Isle of Man. To complete a Gold Award you can visit any fifteen from the total of seventeen, There will be a special Platinum award for anyone who manages to visit all seventeen in one year.

Touring Ride - At each of the circuits you visit you must take a photograph of a sign showing the circuit's name, your ride flag, and your motorbike. These may be taken and submitted any time and there is no time restriction for visiting the circuits, so may be visited over several trips, months, or even years. Visiting 5 circuits will gain a bronze certificate; 10 circuits for a silver certificate; and any15 to gain a gold certificate.

Challenge Ride - Before completing the ride you must contact me (I suggest at least two weeks before intending to complete the ride). I will arrange to send you a number before you start the ride. You will need to take two photographs at each stop - one showing the letter box, your ride flag, and your motorbike; the other showing your GPS unit showing the location's coordinates, the time, and a sticker with this number on it. In addition, you will need to provide a copy of a printed receipt from where you start from; a printed receipt from where you finish; and printed receipts from some or all of the following locations - Scarborough, Hinckley or Midhurst. For a bronze certificate you must visit 5 circuits provide start & finish receipts and a receipt from at least one of the three receipt locations.
For a silver certificate you must visit 10 circuits, provide start & finish receipts and receipts from at least two of the three receipt locations.
For a gold certificate you must visit any 15 circuits, provide start & finish receipts and receipts from all three receipt locations.
